Warmlink

Warmlink connector

Ask your AI assistant what people who use a piece of software say about it, and save your own vouches, without leaving the chat.

What it does

Warmlink collects vouches, recommends and avoids for software from the people who use it, each with their reason. The connector brings those into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and other apps that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Counts and reasons come from Warmlink members. Vendors cannot pay to appear or to rank.

The connector address is:

https://warmlink.io/mcp

Tools

  • Verify a product (verify). Looks up one software product by name or website and returns how many members vouch for or recommend it, up to three of their reasons, and a link.
  • Recommend software (recommend). Finds up to five products members vouch for, for a need ("CRM for a 5-person agency") or a category ("Email Marketing"), most vouched first.
  • Vouch for a product (vouch). Saves your own vouch, recommend or avoid for a product, with your reason in a sentence. Only when you ask for it.
  • Withdraw a vouch (withdraw). Removes one of your vouches, recommends or avoids. Only when you ask for it.
  • My vouches (my_vouches). Lists your own vouches, recommends and avoids, with your reasons and your link for each.
  • Who am I on Warmlink (whoami). Says which Warmlink member you are signed in as.
  • Sign out of Warmlink (sign_out). Signs you out of Warmlink in that chat app. You sign in again before the next request.

Things to ask

  • “What do people on Warmlink say about Linear?”
  • “Find me a CRM Warmlink members vouch for, for a 5-person agency.”
  • “Vouch for Figma on Warmlink: it’s how our whole team reviews designs.”
  • “What have I vouched for on Warmlink?”

Signing in

The connector needs a Warmlink account. When you add it, your chat app opens Warmlink’s sign-in page: sign in with Google, X or an email code, and new members join on the way. Then confirm the connection. Your chat app holds a Warmlink sign-in for you from then on, and never sees your Google, X or email credentials.

Add it to your chat app

Claude

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it Warmlink, paste https://warmlink.io/mcp, and select Add. Claude then asks you to connect, which opens the Warmlink sign-in.

ChatGPT

Adding your own connector in ChatGPT uses Developer mode, which depends on your ChatGPT plan. With it on, create an app, paste https://warmlink.io/mcp as the MCP server URL, choose OAuth, and sign in to Warmlink when ChatGPT asks.

Gemini

In the Gemini web app, open your connected apps and add a custom app with https://warmlink.io/mcp as its MCP server URL, then sign in to Warmlink when Gemini asks. Google currently offers custom connected apps only on the web and only to accounts with Gemini Spark, inside Spark tasks.

Grok

Go to grok.com/connectors, select New connector, then Custom, and paste https://warmlink.io/mcp. Grok signs you in to Warmlink when you add it, so finish the sign-in before your first question.

Other MCP apps

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth can connect to https://warmlink.io/mcp. Warmlink supports OAuth dynamic client registration and PKCE, and publishes its sign-in details at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp, so most apps need only the address.

Links and commissions

Every product in a result links through warmlink.io. A purchase through one of these links may earn Warmlink a commission, and each result says so. A commission never changes what is shown or in what order: results are ranked by what members say, and no vendor can pay to be included.

Your data

  • A vouch or recommend you save shows your name unless you ask otherwise. An avoid is never public.
  • Other members’ names appear in results only when they signed their vouch.
  • Warmlink records each request the connector receives, including the tool, what was asked, which products came back, and which app sent it, tied to your account, to run and improve the service.
  • Warmlink does not see the rest of your conversation, only what your chat app sends to these tools.

The Privacy Policy explains how Warmlink stores, shares and keeps account data. To have yours deleted, email privacy@warmlink.io.

Disconnecting

Ask the assistant to sign you out of Warmlink, or remove the connector in your chat app’s settings. Either way the app can no longer act for you on Warmlink until you sign in again.
